چکیده

Herbal teas was are widely consumed by people around the world have high antioxidant activities. The flavor and color combination of specific enriches aroma appearance tea, producing a tea with fresh tastier flavor. This study determines activity telang flower (Clitoria ternatea), pineapple (Ananas comosus), formula called TeNan. activities herbal were measured 2,2 Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), 2,2′-Azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power (FRAP) assay. total phenol measurement used Gallic Acid Equivalent (GAE), while flavonoid content Quercetin (QE). DPPH scavenging TeNan (IC50: 17.07%, 11.81%, 22.22%), H2O2 26.62%, 41.81%, 96.22%), ABTS-reducing 2.51%, 3.39%, 1.02%), FRAP 5.56%, 18.67%, 7.48%). phenolic contents lower (9.44 μg GAE/100%; 3.46 QAE/100% sample concentration) than those (16.20 4.88 but higher (0.82 0.17 concentration). has in ABTS compared to tea. In summary, stronger assays.

Antioxidant Potential of Clitoria Ternatea Leaf Extracts in Vitro

Enzymic antioxidants were analyzed in both blue flowered leaf and white flowered leaf of Clitoria ternatea. The in vitro model used in the study as alternatives to live animals, was goat liver slices. The liver slices exposed to different treatments were incubated for one hour at 37 ̊C with very mild shaking. The enzymic antioxidant activity was analyzed by using goat liver slices, both blue flo...

Purification, characterization, and antifungal activity of chitinases from pineapple (Ananas comosus) leaf.

Three chitinases, designated pineapple leaf chitinase (PL Chi)-A, -B, and -C were purified from the leaves of pineapple (Ananas comosus) using chitin affinity column chromatography followed by several column chromatographies. PL Chi-A is a class III chitinase having a molecular mass of 25 kDa and an isoelectric point of 4.4. PL Chi-B and -C are class I chitinases having molecular masses of 33 k...

Characterization of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase from Pineapple Leaves Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.

Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase has been partially purified from pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.]) leaves. Specific activities obtained show it to be a major activity in this tissue. Above 15 C, the respective activation energies for decarboxylation and carboxylation are 13 and 12 kcal/mol. Below 15 C, there are discontinuities in Arrhenius plots with an associated large increase in activation ...
